June 21, 2022. GroundwaterU is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH).

IAH is a scientific and educational charitable organization for scientists, engineers, water managers and other professionals working in the fields of groundwater resource planning, management and protection:
• IHA was founded in 1956, and it has grown to a world-wide membership of more than 4,000 individuals based all over the world.
• IAH consists of 50 international chapters.
• IAH publishes a peer-reviewed journal called Hydrogeology Journal (8 issues per year), as well as books related to a variety of groundwater topics.
• The IAH Commissions and Networks contribute to the science of groundwater and undertaking outreach, education and training. They run sessions at IAH congresses, co-convene technical meetings and field excursions with other societies, host workshops and training courses and prepare educational and outreach publications and video recordings for professionals and students. Also, IAH holds international conferences and sponsors many educational events that may interest you.

GroundwaterU encourages everyone to visit IAH website to learn about IAH and its various educational offerings, many of which are free to the public.

GroundwaterU and IAH will collaborate to bring scientific, professional and educational benefits to the hydrogeological and related communities, and to the wider general population. IAH’s members, international contacts, and all non-member practitioners of groundwater science, engineering, and law and policy are encouraged to submit videos together with summary information for inclusion in the GroundwaterU Public Video Library. Contact info@groundwateru.org to discuss your video idea, which could be based on an existing video or made easily using an existing slide presentation. Help Build the Library.
